Addicted to CAS - Cheers

Another fun day on the courts with the husband.  So happy that he is feeling better!  Every day he is getting a bit stronger...though clearly his tennis has not suffered!


We have a new challenge starting over at Addicted to CAS.  Our theme for the week is Cheers!  I though this would be the perfect time to dust of this fun stamp.  Here's my take on the theme...






I colored the image with my Copic markers.  Stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and just put together the card.  Simple and fun!

Less is More - Sweet Things

Another beautiful week with plenty of tennis time.  Today is a little hitting with the husband!  Yeah!

We have another challenge starting over at Less is More. Our theme for this one layer challenge is Sweet Things. Lot's of possibilities with this fun theme. Here's what I came up with...




I simply stamped the image and colored it with my copic markers.  Super fun to make this card for my hitting partner who is now in college...

Less is More - Neopolitan Ice Cream Colors

Wow, can't believe it is June already!  It's been a fun week, with lots going on, but always a few minutes to make some cards!

We have another challenge over at Less is More.  The theme is just perfect for summer...Neapolitan Ice Cream Colors.  Doesn't get better than chocolate, strawberry and vanilla!  Here's my take on the challenge...




I simply stamped these cute little coconut drinks and colored them with copics.  I popped up with panel on foam tape and added it to kraft card stock.

I then sponged the sentiment with distress ink and added it via inlaid die to the card.  Was looking for an "Aloha" die but don't have one in my stash.

CAS on Sunday - Repetition

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.  Another day for tennis today.  Tomorrow is a rest day, so all is good.

We have a new challenge starting over at CAS on Sunday.  Our theme for this challenge is Repetition. No better theme than that...I could make 100 cards...but then I couldn't play tennis!  Anywho...here is my take on the theme...




Super quick and easy card....I simply stamped my cupcakes and colored them with copic markers.  A little stamping around the cupcakes.  I added a bit of color by adding the red cardstock and added the sentiment in black.

Less is More - Shimmer

A beautifully sunny week this week.  I was able to get in tennis every day, but the best day is today, because I get to play with the husband.  He is slowly making his way back to the court and doing amazing!


We have another challenge starting over at Less is More.  Our theme for this week is Shimmer. A fun theme, that I'm sure will generate a ton of interest.  Here is my take on the challenge...



This is a pretty simple card.  I used the Tri Die set to cut the squares.  I inked up some paper with the various colors and cut the hearts from some glitter paper...then it was a simple puzzle to put together the pieces using the inlaid die technique.

I heat embossed the sentiment and done!
