CAS on Friday - Die

Another beautiful week, it seems like spring here.  I'm not quite ready for this warm weather and hoping for a bit more winter before it is over.  Anyways, it does give us plenty of time to hit the beach and courts!

We have another challenge starting today over at CAS on Friday.  Our theme for this challenge is Die. Simply use a die cut image on your card.

Here's my take on the challenge...

I simply stamped my flower images on card stock.  I added a few other images around in a light grey color.

I then stamped my sentiment and used the inlaid die technique for the birthday sentiment.  I like using inlaid die as it is easy for mailing and it feels like I'm putting together a puzzle.

Addicted to CAS - Teal

Another beautiful day expected today.  Puppy training in the am and some tennis in the pm...then time with the husband--doesn't get better than that!


We have another challenge starting today at Addicted to CAS.  Our theme for this challenge is Teal---one of my favorite colors!


Here's my card for the challenge...

This is a pretty quick and easy card.  I simply stamped the image --- I just love this stamp set.

I used the inlaid die technique to add the birthday sentiment...makes this an easy card to mail.

All in all a pretty quick and easy card.

Less is More - Music

Another beautiful week...certainly doesn't seem like winter.  It is so pretty out...time for lots of tennis!

We also have another challenge starting over at Less is More!  Our theme for this week is Music.  Such a fun challenge theme.  Here's my take on the challenge.  Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!





I stamped my little bunnies on this film strip and colored them with my Copic Markers.  I then adhered everything to this card base and added the sentiment.  Pretty quick card!

CAS on Friday - Color Me Pretty

We got one day on the courts between storms.  Better than nothing.  Next week is expected to be much better...but still hoping for dry courts tomorrow to play with the husband!

We have another challenge starting today at CAS on Friday.  Our theme for this week is to use markers or pencils.  Here's my take on the theme...

I tried something a bit different.  I colored the background and left the main image white.  This dog actually looks like my puppy Baxter.  He is all white with dark eyes and nose!  He is sooooo cute!

The little squares are cut using a die then coloring the background with Copic markers.

I used the inlaid die technique to make this card easy to mail.  I've been liking the flat cards lately.

Less is More - OLC Cute

Finishing off a hectic week.  I'm hoping we will fall into a routine after this coming week.  We have a new challenge starting over at Less is More.  As you can see we have fun code word...Cute...but remember this is a one layer card...my favorite!

I don't know about you, but I think this bunny is just the cutest thing in the world.

I colored him with copics...added a bit of Wink of Stella on the stripes of his shirt and the hearts floating above him.

Stamped the sentiment and done.

Addicted to CAS - Ombre

It has been a bit of a hectic week, and next week is worse, so I'm happy to be able to finish an inspiration card before everything comes to a boiling point.  We have a new challenge over at Addicted to CAS.  As you can see, our code word is Ombre.  Super fun!

I choose to do something a bit different.  I focused my ombre highlights to the sentiment.  Which I added here with the inlaid die technique, to make this card easy to mail.

I stamped and colored my giraffes.  So sweet!

CAS on Friday - Love

Finally the rain has moved out and we can play a bit of tennis again.  Nice to be on the court with the husband!

I used my Zig markers to color this little guy.  I added some highlights using my colored pencils.  Then added a splash of color with this speech bubble.
