Addicted to CAS - Fluffy

Done with the yard work and some general outdoor clean up.  Now time to do a bit of fun stuff, so I'm working on this next challenge at Addicted to CAS!  Our theme for this challenge is Fluffy.  So many options for this challenge that it is unclear where to start.  Here's my take on the challenge...

When I thought about this challenge my mind went directly to puffy clouds...so that is where I started.  The next most fluffy thing I could find are my cute little bunny stamps.  I colored both of the images with pinkish colors...I guess getting ready for Easter.

I decided to simply put the sentiment on the inside---a simple "Hug"!

Less is More - Horoscope

What a beautiful day today...a little cold, but the sun is out and a lovely opportunity to take the dog for a long walk, then do a bit of yard work.

We have another challenge starting over at Less is More.  Our theme for this challenge is Horoscope.  What a fun and creative challenge.  Here's my take on the challenge...

I received these beautiful sentiment sayings from Visible Image and decided to use these as the typical saying in a horoscope.

I created my background with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and stamped my image with dark black ink.

A super simple card.

Addicted to CAS - Grid

We have another challenge starting today at Addicted to CAS.  This one was a bit tricky for me as I wasn't sure what direction to go.  I decided to keep it simple (which I guess is perfect for a clean and simple themed challenge :))

Here's what I came up with...

I kept the images super simple with just a stamped flower and sentiment.  I then scored some grid lines to highlight this simple design--this is my grid!

Less is More - Sentiment

It has been a wet and rainy few days but hopefully it will clear up soon and I can get back to playing tennis...also hoping my little puppy will be feeling better soon...he has a sprain from chasing squirrels.

Addicted to CAS - Birds

We have a fun weekend planned, with some sunshine, tennis and general outdoor activities...gotta enjoy the break in the rain!

Another challenge starting today at Addicted to CAS.  Our theme for this challenge is Birds.  I tried several different designs here before I was happy with this.

Here's my take on the challenge...

I thought it would be fun to have my birds on a wire.  The card looked a bit empty, so I added a few houses underneath but focused my color just on the birds.  I added my trademark little bubble on top of the card with the sentiment and done!

Less is More - Navy and Yellow

Yeah...a bit of sunny weather to dry out from the non-stop rain.  We were able to hit the tennis courts again, which is the best!

Anyhoo...we have another challenge starting today at Less is More.  Our theme for this color challenge is Navy and Yellow.  I was thinking of doing something floral, but in the end gravitated to my favorite monsters.  Here's my take on the challenge...

This is a super simple card.  Just colored my image with copics and added my normal little cloud bubbles and done!

Addicted to CAS - Friends

We have another challenge starting today at Addicted to CAS!  Super fun topic...Friends!  This is the perfect topic for me as I try to send cards to my friends each month!  Always fun to get happy mail!


Here's my take on the challenge...

Super quick card since there is not much coloring.  Just a bit of shading and a few colors...but nothing better then snowmen selfie!

I stamped the sentiment on the bottom and on the inside it says "Warm the Heart".  I then added a bit of tone on tone snowflakes to some bright pink paper.

I then promptly sent this to my friend Barb!  Pink is her fav color and she is enjoying the snow at the moment!
