Less is More - Flower OLC

We have another challenge starting today at Less is More.  This week is the one layer challenge.  Always a fun challenge for me, but these last few weeks I've been kinda busy, so didn't have a ton of time to be creative.  So I just went with a super quick and simple card.  I used a similar design for a birthday card a while back and now just changed the sentiment for a different card.  I used the inlaid die technique for the sentiment, which makes this a one layer card.

Just a simple card with some quick stamping.  I love to use this design for a variety of occasions!

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Thanks for stopping by!

Addicted to CAS - Tweet

Another week just flown by...and we have another challenge starting today at Addicted to CAS.  Our theme for this week is Tweet.  How fun is that!  My mind is on Christmas Cards, you know it is coming up quickly!  Here is my take on the challenge...

This is a super quick card...so I plan on making many of these for the holidays.

I colored these cute little birds with copics and popped them up on foam tape.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Halloween Love

I have to say Halloween is my favorite time of the year to make cards!  Not that I send out a bunch or have ever really sent out Halloween cards before, but the stamp images are just so fun!  I love all of them!

I really fell in love with these two from last year, but never had the opportunity to use them until now...

I stamped these two cuties and colored them with my copic markers.

I love to add the sentiment in a splash of color, and still keeping the card clean and simple.

Thanks for stopping by!

Addicted to CAS - Apples

Another beautiful week gone by...where has the summer gone...it's already September.

We have another challenge starting today at Addicted to CAS!  Our theme for this week is Apples.  A tricky challenge for me as I searched through all of my stamps and found only two apple stamps.  I've used one for this card...can you find it!!

Another sweet Stamping Bella stamp.  Just love these!

I simply colored this with my Copics and done.  Really a very quick and easy card.  My sentiment is from Lawn Fawn.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Thanks for stopping by!

Less is More - Black, White & One Color

We have another challenge starting today at Less is More.  This challenge is black, white and one color.  This is a bit of a challenge for me, since I like to use at least 3 colors on each of my projects...and this only allows for one...since black and white are normally there :)

Here's my take on the challenge...

I stamped my main image and colored it with copics.  I then used the die to give the card some interest.  I colored the various dots with copics, then used the inlaid die technique to put them back in the holes.

A pretty quick and simple card.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Such a beautiful week gone by and time for another challenge at Less is More.  Our theme for this week is a Sketch Challenge.  I love these challenges as it always pushes me to do something I would normally not.  Here's the sketch and below my take on the challenge...

Super quick and easy card.  I used this sweet little cake stamp from Reverse Confetti and quickly colored it with Copics.  I added some color to the main image by matting each square.  I then added a bit of dimension with foam tape and done!

CAS on Friday - Butterflies

Another week gone by...and we have another challenge starting today at CAS on Friday.  Our theme for this challenge is Butterflies!  This is a bit difficult for me since I only have one butterfly stamp and need to come up with something creative.

Here's my take on the challenge...

I started by die cutting my sentiment as I like to use the inlaid die technique.

I then stamped my butterfly in several colors.  It was a bit empty so I added a few stars and dots.

I then added the "Hello"  above the die cut and done...pretty darn easy!

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Addicted to CAS - Masculine

Welcome to August...the year is already half over...wow...gotta start thinking about Christmas cards...but until then, we have another challenge starting today at Addicted to CAS!  Our theme for this week is to create a Masculine card.  A bit tricky for me!  Here's my take on the challenge...

I stamped this fun little guy, then masked him off and added the balloons falling around him.

I wanted to add a little bit of interest to his cloths, so I added some dots to his shirt.  My husband picked the colors and I colored him with Copics.

I added the sentiment in the cloud bubble with white embossing powder.  Lots of fun coloring!

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Thanks for stopping by!

Less is More - Pets

Another beautiful week gone by...lots of stuff going on, but finding time to play tennis with the husband.  Always a challenge!

Speaking of challenge...we have another one starting today at Less is More.  Our theme for this week is Pets!  What immediately comes to mind is dogs!  My faithful furry four legged friend.  Here's my take on the theme...

I tried a new technique for card.  I stamped my dog on the left then, stamped it again on acetate and stamped that on the card.  This gave me a mirror image.  The quality wasn't good, but I then colored the image in with Copic markers then outlined it black.

Pretty quick and easy card!

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Addcited to CAS - Summertime

We have another challenge starting today at Addicted to CAS.  Just the perfect theme for this time of year...Summertime.  We were hoping to get to the beach this week, but it has been a bit too hectic.  Maybe next week.  In the meantime...checkout my take on the challenge.

This is a super easy one layer card.  I started by stamping my flip flops.  I then cut a small stencil from masking tape, trying not to be too perfect.  I used distress ink to create a little background for each set of flip flops.  A quick little copic coloring and finished.

I added the little sentiment and done!

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Thanks for stopping by!

I have a puppy training class this morning.  Baxter is doing well, but always can use another class.  It is a beautiful day to hang at the park, so we are going to class!

We have another challenge starting today at Less is More.  Our theme for this challenge is a sketch challenge.  Here's my take on the challenge...

I wasn't sure what to do for this sketch...I thought of going floral, but then decided to go a bit in a different direction.  I had these button dies for quite sometime and thought it might be fun to use them here.

I used the inlaid die technique and put the buttons down in pink and purple.  I then colored and cut my main image.  I added the sentiment and done.

I love this cute little monster....she is so cute!

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

We have another challenge starting over at Addicted to CAS.  Our theme for this challenge is Gold.  I don't do a ton of gold, so this is always a challenge for me.  I opted to look ahead to Christmas.  Here is my take on the challenge.

This is a quick 4 x 4 card.  I used the inlaid die technique for both the presents and the sentiment.  Because this card is so CAS, I decided to use gold glitter paper to give it a bit more sparkle.

Little Baxter has been doing so well, that he is off to puppy training this morning...hopefully he friends are there and not the aggressive doberman that scares him :(.

I have a giveaway going on so check it out here to see if you are interested!

We have another challenge starting over at Less is More.  Our theme for this week is to bring something back...either something that has fallen out of favor or something that hasn't been used in awhile.  I pulled out one of the first stamp sets that I purchased and created a quick and simple card.

I love this little cutie...by haven't used him in quite some time.

I quickly stamped this little guy and colored him with copic markers.  I gave him a bit of a pink tummy, just to add a tiny bit of color.

I used my cloud die to create a pop of color for the sentiment.
