Addicted to CAS - Grid

We have another challenge starting today at Addicted to CAS.  This one was a bit tricky for me as I wasn't sure what direction to go.  I decided to keep it simple (which I guess is perfect for a clean and simple themed challenge :))

Here's what I came up with...

I kept the images super simple with just a stamped flower and sentiment.  I then scored some grid lines to highlight this simple design--this is my grid!

Less is More - Sentiment

It has been a wet and rainy few days but hopefully it will clear up soon and I can get back to playing tennis...also hoping my little puppy will be feeling better soon...he has a sprain from chasing squirrels.

These simple images really are sweet and allow the focus to be on the their little messages.  Hoping this card will bring some sunshine to a friend.

Addicted to CAS - Birds

We have a fun weekend planned, with some sunshine, tennis and general outdoor activities...gotta enjoy the break in the rain!

Another challenge starting today at Addicted to CAS.  Our theme for this challenge is Birds.  I tried several different designs here before I was happy with this.

Here's my take on the challenge...

I thought it would be fun to have my birds on a wire.  The card looked a bit empty, so I added a few houses underneath but focused my color just on the birds.  I added my trademark little bubble on top of the card with the sentiment and done!

Less is More - Navy and Yellow

Yeah...a bit of sunny weather to dry out from the non-stop rain.  We were able to hit the tennis courts again, which is the best!

Anyhoo...we have another challenge starting today at Less is More.  Our theme for this color challenge is Navy and Yellow.  I was thinking of doing something floral, but in the end gravitated to my favorite monsters.  Here's my take on the challenge...

This is a super simple card.  Just colored my image with copics and added my normal little cloud bubbles and done!
