CAS on Friday - Black, White & Pink

It has been a bit of a strange week...rain, heat, and just pain beautiful weather.  I think we will now be moving into spring...

We have a new challenge starting over at CAS on Friday.  Our theme for this week is a color theme...black, white and pink.  Here's my take on the challenge.

This is a super quick and easy card.  I stamped my three presents and simply colored them with copic markers.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Less is More - Bring Something Back

Little Baxter has been doing so well, that he is off to puppy training this morning...hopefully he friends are there and not the aggressive doberman that scares him :(.

I have a giveaway going on so check it out here to see if you are interested!

We have another challenge starting over at Less is More.  Our theme for this week is to bring something back...either something that has fallen out of favor or something that hasn't been used in awhile.  I pulled out one of the first stamp sets that I purchased and created a quick and simple card.

I love this little cutie...by haven't used him in quite some time.

I quickly stamped this little guy and colored him with copic markers.  I gave him a bit of a pink tummy, just to add a tiny bit of color.

I used my cloud die to create a pop of color for the sentiment.

Look forward to seeing what you come up with!

Addicted to CAS - Bubble

It's been a busy week with the puppy...but he should be doing much better in a few days.  At least I was able to get to the courts a few days this week!

I have a giveaway going on so check it out here to see if you are interested!

We have a new challenge starting over at Addicted to CAS.  Our theme for this week is Bubbles.  I decided to do something a bit different and focus on Speech Bubbles.  Here's my take on the challenge...

I stamped the cute little mouse on this smaller card stock.  After coloring him with Copic Markers, I added this fun little speech bubble.

I matted the smaller rectangle with this red to give it a bit more interest.

A quick and simple card!

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

CAS on Friday - Mother's Day

A soggy day today, but still can hit the gym and do a bit of inside work...those taxes still need to get done!

I have a giveaway going on so check it out here to see if you are interested!

We have another challenge starting today at CAS on Friday.  Our theme for this challenge is Mother's Day.  Here's my take on the challenge.  Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

This was a super quick and easy card.  I simply stamped my flower, added the "m" to both sides and added a little color with my copics...then I stamped the sentiment.

Oops...almost forgot, I added the little dot to the flower...gives it a finishing touch.

Thanks for stopping by!

Addicted to CAS - Rain

What a beautiful week...it feels like the middle of summer!  The dog is wiped out because he is not yet ready to for the heat!

I have a giveaway going on...if you are interested, check it out here!

We have a new challenge starting over at Addicted to CAS.  Our theme for this challenge is Rain.  We had plenty of that up until this past week.  So in honor of my puppy, who doesn't like the rain, here is my take on the challenge.

I started by stamping my main image (Penny Black) with Copic friendly ink and colored my little puppy!

Then using distressed ink I sponged two types of ink:  squeezed lemonade and Mustard Seed over my sun ray stencil from My Favorite Things.

I then die cut my cloud parade from Simon Says Stamp and glued it down.  I added some vellum to a few of the clouds to give it some interest.

I found a sentiment that fit perfectly in the open space and used my Versafine Ink, my favorite sentiment ink.

CAS on Friday - Easter

A rainy week, but hoping to get some time on the courts tomorrow...wish me luck.  Husband, looking forward to playing with the husband in a few hours!

We have a new challenge starting over at CAS on Friday.  Our theme for this challenge is Easter.  Can't get more fun than that...since bunnies are associated with Easter, I thought I would go that direction.  Here's my take on the challenge...

This was a simple card to make.  I stamped my little bunny, then masked him off.  I used my distress ink to give a bit of a colorful background.

I then used my copic markers to color the bunny.  I like to add a bit of color around the sentiment.  Heat embossed the sentiment and a few sparkly stars and done!

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
