Less is More - New Beginnings

It has been a busy week.  A bit of tennis in between the rain and some trips to the gym.

We have another challenge starting over at Less is More.  The theme for this weeks challenge is New Beginnings.  Such an appropriate theme for the beginning of the new year.  Head on over to the blog to see what the other designers have come up with and post your design!

Here's my take on the theme...

This is a super simple card.  I simply stamped this cute little guy on some cardstock and colored him with my copic markers.  I then stamped and heat embossed my sentiment.  I used the stitched square to cut the card stocks so there is a bit of interest to the card.

Here is a closeup of the card.  You can see that I added some foam tape to the back of the elephant square just for a bit of dimension.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

  1. That is a gorgeous shade of blue and you've co-ordinated your copics with it brilliantly. As always your colouring is fantastic. Wonderful card xx

  2. What a cutie that little Nellie is Susan! It looks so friendly with its lovely smiley face. Super job on the colouring too as he looks so cool in those blues. Such a great design xx

  3. I love this calmimg colour scheme... that lavender-blue is so pretty and gives a really stylish spin on CAS. Adorable little elephant and the speckles on his bum are really sweet! :p Have a fab weekend Susan x
