I hope we had the last heat wave of the year! I'm ready for the fall season!
Anyhoo...we have another challenge at Addicted to CAS today...our theme is Plaid. This was a bit of a challenge for me, as I was searching for paper and realized I don't have much (actually any plaid)...then I was thinking about it and realized, I'm not a super big fan of plaid. However, with that being said...I did find the back on one piece of paper that had plaid...it was only a small amount...so time to be creative. Here's my take on the challenge...
This card uses the inlaid dye technique...which was a bit challenging since it cut the entire card across. But in the end it all came together.
You can't tell in this picture, but I used some silver glitter paper as well.
Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
Thanks for stopping by!

I can imagine how difficult it was to put your card back together after die cutting, Susan. You did it and it looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteLove how you featured the heart with the plaid - just stunning! Love your layout and the pink is perfect!!!
ReplyDeleteLove all the pink and how you isolated the plaid heart, Susan! Great job piecing all those hearts together again, too ~ Such a sweet card!
ReplyDeleteSusan, I love that pop of plaid on the heart. Fabulous card
