Addicted to CAS - Humor

It's lining up to be a busy weekend...but am able to fit in a bit of fun with tennis, the dog and the husband.  All is good!

Also, we have another challenge starting over at Addicted to CAS.  I'm hosting this one and I selected Humor for the theme.  I have so many fun cards to choose from, but ended up settling on this one.  Here's what I came up with...

I just love these Odd Ball images from Stamping Bella.  She has the best attitude, and she makes me laugh.

A simple stamp of the image along with my Copic markers quickly makes this CAS card.

Addicted to CAS - Ombre

A beautiful weekend on tap...no rain lovely weather, walks with the dog, tennis with friends, hanging out with the husband...can't get better than that!

Ok, I maybe cheating a little bit, because I made a very similar card a month ago...but I really like these sentiment stamps and the simplicity of this design so I made another card.

Addicted to CAS - Green

What a beautiful day...a bit cold to start off the morning walk, but it quickly warmed after a round of tennis!  Then lunch at home with the hubby---after a bit of yard work!


We have another challenge starting today at Addicted to CAS.  The theme for this week is Green. I went a little different here and focused my green on this card...I mean, who won't want green hair!

This is a super cute stamp from Stamping Bella...I just love these Odd Ball characters.  Also, hard to go wrong with green hair!

Less is More - Take 3

Another beautiful day to start the weekend.  I took the puppy for a long leisurely walk--then some housework and finally time to have some fun in the studio.  Hope the weather holds for some tennis tomorrow!

We have a new challenge starting at Less is More.  Our theme for this challenge is Take 3.  What is this?  Well simply, anything that you have three of...words, colors, etc.  Here's my take on the challenge...

For this challenge.  I picked 3 colors for my background and 3 squares for each word.

Addicted to CAS - Fluffy

Done with the yard work and some general outdoor clean up.  Now time to do a bit of fun stuff, so I'm working on this next challenge at Addicted to CAS!  Our theme for this challenge is Fluffy.  So many options for this challenge that it is unclear where to start.  Here's my take on the challenge...

When I thought about this challenge my mind went directly to puffy clouds...so that is where I started.  The next most fluffy thing I could find are my cute little bunny stamps.  I colored both of the images with pinkish colors...I guess getting ready for Easter.

I decided to simply put the sentiment on the inside---a simple "Hug"!

Less is More - Horoscope

What a beautiful day today...a little cold, but the sun is out and a lovely opportunity to take the dog for a long walk, then do a bit of yard work.

We have another challenge starting over at Less is More.  Our theme for this challenge is Horoscope.  What a fun and creative challenge.  Here's my take on the challenge...

I received these beautiful sentiment sayings from Visible Image and decided to use these as the typical saying in a horoscope.

I created my background with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and stamped my image with dark black ink.

A super simple card.

Addicted to CAS - Grid

We have another challenge starting today at Addicted to CAS.  This one was a bit tricky for me as I wasn't sure what direction to go.  I decided to keep it simple (which I guess is perfect for a clean and simple themed challenge :))

Here's what I came up with...

I kept the images super simple with just a stamped flower and sentiment.  I then scored some grid lines to highlight this simple design--this is my grid!
