Merry - FMS Challenge #209

I've been wanting to submit a card for the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #209 this entire week, but I was busy getting other cards done for some family members and it has been quite a busy week with other commitments.

I ended up redoing this card several times, as at first I was intent on making it a shaker card, as it really calls out for that type of card.  But in the end, I was not happy with the outcome.  So I scrapped that card, and ending up making this one.  What do you think?

This is a clean and simple card.  I used my embossing folder for the main panel and popped it on foam tape.  I die cut the sentiment from a red paper that matches the Lawn Fawn paper underneath.

A silver star on top completes the card!

Supplies:
  • Bazzill Card Stock:  Marshmallow and Wax Lips
  • Lawn Fawn Patterned Paper
  • WPlus9:  Merry Sentiment
  • My Favorite Things: Tree Die Cut

  1. Very cute! I love how you've arranged the sentiment on this, and I love how you chose to make it red. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!

  2. SUPER job! LOVE how you paired that adorable Lawn Fawn paper (I may be hoarding a similar piece of my own :D- ) with that die cut - how clever! Bravo! :)
