A beautiful week with tennis everyday...good thing it was mostly doubles!
We have another challenge starting over at Addicted to CAS. For this challenge, our theme is Graduation. This was a bit of a struggle for me as I have no traditional graduation stamps...so I thought I would do something a bit more cute....here's what I came up with.
The year of graduation was added with the inlaid die technique, after I sponged the numbers with an Ombre effect. I then stamped and colored my little bird and the sentiment. I then popped the bird and the sentiment on foam tape.
The card still looked a bit empty to me so I stamped the confetti.
Here's a close up...you can see the dimension in the bird!
Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

I love that you used one my favorite birds, and how you perched him on top of your beautiful ombre numbers! Love your speech bubble sentiment, too...cute card, Susan!
ReplyDeleteI picked the word and I don't have any traditional graduation stamps either, Susan. It looks like we thought alike for our cards, using the year, but that's where the similarity ends. Yours is so soft and cute. I love that big eyed bird.
ReplyDeleteGreat take on the code word! Love that little bird.
ReplyDeleteMy granddaughter,Sophie, graduates from High School next year and I think she would love getting this card...so I pinned it
that way I can find it when the time comes. :)
I really love what you've done with the numbers Susan - I'm going to CAS that for sure! So so good. x Carolyn
