Less is More - Dreams (OLC)

It is time for another challenge over at Less is More.  This week we have another one-layer challenge. One of my favorites.  Our theme is Dreams!  Quite fun!

I had plans to make two cards, with very different ideas, but in the end only had time for one.

Here is my take on the challenge, looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

I stamped my main image, then colored him with Copic Markers.  I made my scientist a bit radioactive, by adding a bit of bright green around him.

I then stamped my flowers and drew in the stems.

I drew the circles for my though bubble and stamped the little heart.

There you have it, my mad scientist dreaming of love :)

Here is a close up of my card.

I have used this mad scientist in several cards holding a few different items. I'm trying to use stamp sets for at least three different occasions.

Check out the other one here, and here.

  1. Awesome one layer card, Susan. I love how you've changed up this image to suit different occasions. This is a fab take on dreams and I love the green outline, great touch! x

  2. Super fun image Susan and the thought of a mad scientist dreaming of love is just wonderful. Love the way you coloured him and the yellow 'shadow' really makes him pop off the card. Fab! xx

  3. I love this! So fun, and yet another fab and creative way of using the mad scientist. You always do such beautifully coloured and crisp cards... envious of your ninja CAS skills!! Enjoy your weekend x

  4. Your colouring is as superb as ever Susan and this card really made me smile... love it!

  5. This is such a fun image, Susan! Fabulous colouring and I love the touch of radioactive green around the scientist :)

  6. Adorably cute! Love that he has gloves on to handle flowers....teehee

  7. I love your nutty professor Susan and your colouring is awesome. Love how you've added to the image to fit the challenge. Great idea. Sarah x

  8. I sure hope he finds love - ha! That green radiating from him is fantastic, and so are his flowers!

  9. What a super CAS card and I love the fact that you have used him on other cards holding different things. Great colouring too.

  10. So cute ! I love the funny interpretation of the challenge ! These poor delicate flowers seem so puny in his large gloved hands! So funny ! Thanks for sharing.

  11. Oh, I do believe I love him! Great shadowing by the way.

    Love and hugs

  12. Great LIM card Susan and I love that amusing image too....ooh and super colouring also ;) Viv xx
